Cornish-Ale

On October 22 I was lucky enough to travel to London to witness the presentation of the Protect Our Waves Petition at the Houses of Parliament & 10 Downing Street. A momentous occasion in St Ives Brewery and Surfers Against Sewage history. Our beer was on offer at the Houses of Parliament bar and was enjoyed by both surfers and politicians.

The Artists Pint is a collaboration between Surfers Against Sewage and St Ives Brewery with the label containing an incredible work of art by world famous artist Kurt Jackson. The beer is raising money for the POW campaign to help raise awareness of the damages caused to the ocean by pollution and overdevelopment across the UK.

World famous recording artist Ben Howard was there to hand the 55,000-name petition in at 10 Downing Street, alongside Hugo & Andy from SAS. As you would expect, after such a momentous occasion we hit Westminster and got really drunk.
