We have been busy re-branding and strengthening our Cornish Lager which is now a 4.2% ABV delight.
We still have a few cases of the much acclaimed ‘Artists Pint’ and Knill by Mouth came out of tank and into bottle over the last few days. Boilers Golden Ale is as good as it ever was and is in plentiful supply.

We have a host of shows to go to this year starting with Trereife House this weekend. Free tasters of all our beers will be on offer with some great deals to be had. Come along and say hello.

Keep an eye out for us at all of the county shows and make sure you ask your landlord to get a cask of Boilers in if he hasn’t done already.

Knill by Mouth on the boil

The Poly bags come delivered to your door in a robust cardboard outer with a tap that pokes out of one side. Simply open the tap and poor if you have ordered without sediment or allow to stand overnight if you haven’t. Feel free to chill if you like your ales cold, it’s entirely up to you.

Give us a weeks notice for the Bag in Boxes and your beer will arrive in plenty of time for the big day.

Call for larger occasions and higher quantities

The three cylinder triple expansion, 2 boiler cargo steamer was bound for Italy when it mistakenly took the lights on Porthmeor to be that of the town & harbour.

The ships Boiler that is stuck in the sand creates a wave known affectionately as ‘Boilers’. A barreling right hand wave that is a testing ground for the areas finest surfers. Our first beer takes this name as a reminder of the areas love of surfing and a nod to the memory of the Alba and its crew plus the brave men of the St.Ives lifeboat who risked their lives to save them.

We would like to thank all the organisers who put up with our moans and groans in the mornings (We were much happier at the end of the day). It truly is the best way to meet and greet the public and get them sampling your product. I am sure we forced a few taster on people that weren’t that keen to begin with. I hope that all of the 1000 people that opened their three bottle gift pack on Christmas day were as excited as we were to sell them.

We have big plans for the brewery this year. We will be venturing way out of county with some shows all over the u.k.
A list will be published shortly that will have the dates of all the shows we will be attending in 2013.

We have started the ball rolling with plans to build somewhere distinctive in the Town but for now that is all I can say. Watch this space!

Happy customers drinking Cornish Real Ale

Sonja Fowlers choice was deemed the most appropriate for the title. St.Nicholas Chapel will be the name of This years festive brew. A delicious 4.5% amber ale will be released in early december for the christmas period. Available through LWC Jollys for a short time only. St.Nicholas Chapel will be a much sought after pint.

Producing a pint like no other courtesy of a creative collaboration between eminent artist Kurt Jackson and St Ives Brewery, the pair are proud to present the latest ale in the Cornish company’s captivating range – the Artist’s Pint.

The exclusive, limited edition ale is the result of multiple rounds of tasting at the artist’s St Just home, where the team eventually found their final brew – a 4.5% ABV deep amber ale offering a formidable fusion of rich hop flavours that spoils the senses not only with its utterly unique taste, but its ultra appealing look.

Featuring original artwork from the award-winning artist, the beer’s label was designed using one of Kurt’s distinctive contemporary paintings. ‘Evening Tide, Cape 2011’ is a stunning seascape capturing the spectacular light and intense skies of Cape Cornwall, making each bottle an unusual and coveted collector’s item to be treasured long after the smooth-tasting contents have been savoured.
While serving the South West’s ale-lovers in supreme style, the Artist’s Pint will also aim to raise money for Greenpeace’s ‘Be a Fisherman’s Friend’ project, which works to implement a common fisheries policy aimed at supporting sustainable fishing and ensuring clean, healthy oceans.

Now enjoying its second year of business, St. Ives Brewery has been busy impressing the industry and customers alike with its flagship session ale – ‘Boilers Golden Cornish Ale’ – an easy drinking, light and golden beer with a delightful hop aroma.

The One year deal has helped fund well needed renovations at the club and will hopefully be the beginning of a long lasting partnership between the club and brewery. The Club History
Over the many years of Rugby Football being played in the town of St. Ives a great deal of history has been made including producing County, South West and International players from school boy honours to full England caps. From the early years playing at Lower Carnstabba and then at Hellesvean through to the present day playing at Alexandra Road. From reaching the first six Cornwall County Cup finals in a row (1968/74) to some of the major scalps and close shaves St. Ives have had against illustrious opponents, the following will hopefully give you a brief look at the history of this great club and revive happy memories for many.
